Mix a tablespoon of the dried orange peel powder with a tablespoon of fresh, plain, sugar-free yogurt. Blend the ingredients together.
After washing your skin and patting it dry, apply the yogurt and dried orange peel paste to the affected area. Allow the paste to sit on the skin for about 20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Apply the paste to your skin once a day. The dark patches will begin to lighten in about a week.
Tomato and Lemon Juice
Tomatoes and lemons are naturally acidic, which gives them natural bleaching properties that are ideal for lightening dark spots on the skin. They also contain antioxidants that help to fight against free radicals, which restores freshness to the skin and keeps it looking young.
To create a skin lightening product, mix 1 tablespoon of tomato juice with a few drops of lemon juice. Apply the mixture to the discolored skin. Allow the mixture to sit on the skin for about 20 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. Repeat the process once a day and you should start to notice the dark patches lightening within a week.
Do note that if a burning sensation occurs, dilute the tomato and lemon juice mixture with water.
